Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Presto Bins Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, booking a service, or using our platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Intermediary Status: Presto Bins Inc. operates as a digital marketplace and booking agent. We connect customers ("You") with independent third-party waste hauling providers ("Vendors").

Not a Carrier: We do not own, operate, or employ the trucks or drivers. The actual waste disposal service is performed by the Vendor. Presto Bins Inc. is not liable for the acts, errors, or omissions of independent Vendors.

3. Booking & Payment

All prices quoted include the rental period and a specific weight allowance. Prices do not include HST, overage fees, or potential hazardous waste penalties unless stated.

  • Authorization: Upon booking, a pre-authorization hold is placed on your credit card for the estimated total.
  • Capture: The actual charge is captured once a Vendor confirms the job.
  • Card on File: You agree to keep a valid card on file for 30 days post-service to cover weight overages or "Dry Run" fees.

4. Weight Limits & Overages

Your rental includes a specific weight limit. Any weight exceeding this limit will be charged at current market tonnage rates (pro-rated). Weights are verified by official Transfer Station weight tickets , which will be made available once uploaded. You authorize automatic charges for these overages.

5. Prohibited Materials

The following items are strictly prohibited in the bin:

  • Hazardous waste (paint, oil, chemicals).
  • Tires and batteries.
  • Propane tanks or pressurized cylinders.
  • Asbestos and bio-hazardous/medical waste.

If prohibited items are found, you may be charged a Contamination Fee or a Dry Run Fee if the pickup is refused.

6. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customer-Initiated Cancellations

  • More than 24 Hours Notice: Full refund less the non-refundable Booking Fee.
  • Less than 24 Hours Notice: A $100.00 cancellation fee applies. Any remaining balance is refunded after deducting both fees.

Vendor-Initiated: If a Vendor cancels for reasons not attributable to you, you receive a full refund, including the Booking Fee.

Failed Delivery: If delivery/pickup fails due to site access (cars blocking access, locked gates) or unsafe conditions, a $100.00 Dry Run Fee or Cancellation Fee may apply.

7. Site Access & Damage Waiver

Disposal bins are heavy. While Vendors operate with care, Presto Bins Inc. is not liable for damage to driveways, curbs, lawns, or underground utilities caused by the weight of the bin or truck. Customers are responsible for municipal permits for street placement.

8. Legal Provisions

Indemnification: You agree to hold Presto Bins Inc. harmless from claims arising from your violation of these Terms or loading prohibited materials.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
